After 11 days of jam-packed fashion events, the Adelaide Fashion Festival wrapped up in a finale show on Saturday night with the Chambord SA Designers Fashion Showcase.
The show was divided into three parts, with the first runway show featuring the collections from the 6 emerging designer finalists.
Congratulations to Alexandra Ireland and her label Necia for taking out the top prize, with Stencil and Morning Theft sharing the runners-up prize.
In the second and third runway shows, we were treated to preview collections from SA designers such as Jaimie Sortino, Penny Anne, Razak, Alexis George and more.

We were thrilled to see the new collection from Paul Vasileff as part of the Adelaide Fashion Festival. After spending a year in Milan, Paul has been working hard on his new couture collection, inspired by Tchaikovsky’s ballets and featuring his signature detailing.
Expanding into ready-to-wear separates like wide-legged pants, coats and knits, it was all about classic elegance, quality and sophistication, with refined design, fine fabrics, beading, corsetry and draping.
